Have you e'er wondered how to find the date you posted a pin to Pinterest? I see this question all the time in some of my favorite blogging groups on Facebook: "Is there whatever fashion to tell when I pinned a pin?"

How to Find the Date You Created a Pinterest Pin
*It should be noted, I'm doing this on a PC. I don't know for sure if these steps work on a Mac.
Step 1:
Open up the desired pin and right-click somewhere beneath your description.
A typical menu will open. Click on "View Page Source".
Step ii:
A new tab will open that looks like a whole lot of gibberish. If it doesn't look like the image below, make sure you select "Line Wrap" in the upper left.
Note: All this "gibberish" is ALL the information Pinterest stores about THIS pin. Just this 1 pin has all this info, that Pinterest has to shop and process.
Knowing this really makes you lot realize why Pinterest no longer wants us repinning multiple copies of our ain pins! This platform/algorithm is MASSIVE!
Anyway, on to Step 3:
Adjacent, with the "gibberish" screen open, type "Ctrl F".
A small search bar will open at the peak of your screen
Pace iv:
Type "created_at", and press Enter.
Ta-Da!! The exact date and time you lot created the pin will be highlighted in orange!
That's information technology! It's really simple and the information is and then interesting! Personally, I find all my really strong pins are at least 6 months old.

Yeah! This fun little Pinterest trick isn't just for your pins. You lot can apply this method to find the original date and time of whatever pin on Pinterest.
Maybe you see the same pin repeatedly. It always shows up in your newsfeed, and you've been seeing it for months, maybe even years. Curious when that viral pin was made? This works on those pins too, even if they aren't your own.
